Animator/ Illustrator Needed for Teen Comedy Drama Pilot Episode

I am looking for someone who would be able to add animation to my finished pilot episode for a new teen comedy drama.

This brand new 20 minute pilot tells the story of awkward 15 year old Masie’s life. Masie’s life gets  turned upside down as over the summer holidays her parents decide to break up and her dad moves out leaving her and her boisterous 8 year brother, Tom at home with their mum, Laura. Now shes going into year 10 with her BFF’s Cassie and Gemma, and she has a whole new set of dramas to deal with. It’s their back to school disco at the end of the week and Maisie hasn’t got a date. It’s alright for Cas, who has boys falling at her feet begging to take her to the disco and Gemma with her long term boyfriend, but Masie just has to find one. Luckily she has her boy best friend Rob to walk home with and tell him all about her problems. She can’t see how much Rob would love to take her to the disco and spys new sixth form hottie, Jack. The 3 girls obsess over Jack at school and one day they go to Cass’s to plan their outfits, when Jack walks in with Cass’s older brother Joe! Meanwhile whilst his is all going on Mums stared to date again, and Maisie can’t work out why her hot new history teacher is being so nice to her…

I am looking for someone with the skills to add animation to a finished piece of live action. This program will be young, fun, bright and light heated and would be suitable for CBBC/ CITV so think Tracy Beaker. We want the episode to be quite graphic for example when Masie sees her crush illustrated hearts will flutter around him.

The episode will not be overly animated and so we are allowing 2 to 3 weeks for this section of the project to be done. When applying please let me know if this is highly unrealistic or more than enough time as I have not added these sort of things to my projects before and so am unsure of time scale needed.

We would be looking to add animation at the end of October/ beginning of November. You will need your own equipment and software to work on. We would send over the final episode so that you could add the animation to it and then we would ask you to send it back. We would like to set up regular meetings or viewings to see how you are getting along. We are based in Kent and so if it is not easy to meet in person we will be able to skype and ask you to send over rough cuts of your work.

If you are interested in this project please let me know my commenting below or emailing me at hennieclough@hotmail.co.uk.
