Lighting Adviser Needed for WW2 Short Film

I am looking for someone who knows what they are talking about when it comes to lighting to help and advice on shoot days for a WW2 short film.

The story follows the exchange of letters between two sweethearts torn apart by war. One day when the letters stop coming, Mary begins to panic about what has happened to her lover Arthur. She confides in her best friend Alice who is very matter of fact when it comes to war, having lost her brother due to the war recently. Alice tells Mary that is more than likely that Arthur has been killed at that she should move on. After grieving for a while Mary begins a new romance with a local boy called Frank. Their romance blossoms but one day Arthur returns unexpectantly and Mary is forced to choose which man she wants to be with.

In previous projects lighting has always been an issue as we were always unsure on how to use it to help set the mood of the scene. This is why we are looking for someone who knows what they are talking about and have an excellent eye when it comes to lighting. You will need to be able to create the right mood in the scene to convey the emotion of the characters.

On the shoot days you will be required to set up the lights to create different moods as well as advising the director on how to best position the characters to catch the right light.

We are looking for someone who has had experience with lighting and can also attend all of the shoot days.
We would be shooting for 2-3 days either at the end of September or beginning of October. The filming will be based in Kent.
